Clarification of procedure
After
discussion, the committee clarified the procedure for presentation of
recommendations to the community and to the developer. The decision made during the last meeting
(Sept 13) to prepare two proposals (basic and enhanced) was clarified. A Sub-committee may prepare a base-line
proposal for maintenance cost analysis, but the final proposal (for each
amenity) will reflect the Sub-committee’s recommendation for an amenity that
will enhance the community.
After
completion, each Amenity proposal will be reviewed by the Finance
Committee for maintenance cost analysis, then the final Amenities package will
be presented to the Developer. The
Site-Plan Proposal will be presented to the Developer as soon as it is
finalized.
Site-Plan Sub-committee
The
Site-Plan Sub-committee presented the conceptual layout plan from the engineer,
Frank Wanko. Several changes were
suggested, and the revisions will be made before the next meeting. Items addressed:
«
Need for buffer between dog area and horse trail (more research needed)
«
Drive needed near clubhouse entrance
«
Location of septic drain field
«
Relocate pool for possible expansion of clubhouse
«
Resize gazebo, locate at end of pier
It was decided that the plan was not ready to
present at the Sept. 22 event, but that it will be presented to the Developer
for suggestions, and a revised plan will be ready by the Sept 27 meeting.
